I admit to buying a souvenir (memorial?) Metro ticket on the day of the Pope's Mass here in DC - I think it was $9. I wanted to be reminded what an awful day it was to travel public transport! (the money went to our aging train system though, not the Catholic church).
what no indulgences? Pieces of the true cross? A saintly bone or nose? How about a game of bingo or hoy in a back alley - every catholic loves a bet!
