Thanks for posting this ~ I am going to read it properly this evening! Oh, and Voxing it :)
I have absolutely no sympathy for human beings whatsoever. None. And no matter what kind of problem humans are facing, whether it's natural or man-made, I always hope it gets worse." - George Carlin

Carlin was exactly what he despised, Narcissistic to the core. He couldnt talk about politicians overly much because he was so very much like one.

He did indeed, Snowy. And if people don't agree with his views, that's just because Carlin cut very close to the bone and made people squirm with how incisive his views were. Only the good die young.

hey Snowy - thought i'd come out of my self-imposed VOX-absence to post my Carlin post w/article, too - just saw yours - really interesting man - and he will be missed - i've got a couple of his skits up on my blog (including the 7 Words) if you want to check them out:)

yes - as an idealist and a patriot, he was totally right on - free speech fights have to come first - otherwise, we're all sunk
I'm so glad you posted this, Snowy. George Carlin was one of the greats.
That he was, Patricia. He talked more sense than his many critics.

About Me

Snowy
Australia
"A human being is a part of the whole, called by us, "Universe," a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest -- a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty. Nobody is able to achieve this completely, but the striving for such achievement is in itself a part of the liberation and a foundation for inner security." : Albert Einstein - (1879-1955) Physicist and Professor, Nobel Prize 1921
